Siu Alaska Corporation and Copper River Seafoods formed Dutch Harbor Acquisitions LLC and purchased the idle Dutch Harbor plant formerly known as Harbor Crown Seafood. The plant will operate under the trade name Bering Fisheries LLC and purchase and process king crab, snow crab, bairdi snow crab, halibut, Pacific cod and Black cod. The plant is the only 100% Alaskan owned and Alaskan operated plant in Dutch Harbor. |
